Our photos were taken on the occasion of handing over donations. As we learned from the volunteer coordinator, the parish clothing collection started early last year in connection with the war in Ukraine, but in the meantime the activity has grown so much that they have been able to expand the help to other regions. The 72 hours without compromise program created by Pope Francis works a little differently in Austria than in our country: schoolchildren register at a center that coordinates the charitable activities of all parishes and from there they are assigned to concrete activities according to needs. In other words, volunteers do not choose based on individual preferences, but are assigned to where volunteers are most needed and participation is very high. We would like to thank our long time friend and sponsor, Permanent Deacon Mag. Peter Zidar from Austria, for organizing the donation and building the relationship.
