Caritas Catholic Association Oradea established a Bureau of Assistance and Advice for Disabled People (BACH) in 2003 in Zalau as part of a national program of the Caritas Confederation Romania. The BACH Network currently consists of 6 offices in Bucharest, Iasi, Miercurea Ciuc, Satu Mare, Zalau and Oradea with the same purpose of improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and promoting their integration into society.
We have common objectives like providing information, assistance and social counseling for people with disabilities and their caregivers in various fields, initiating support groups for parents, organization and participation in various activities in order to change attitudes towards of persons with disabilities in the community; organization of training and retraining of staff to work with people with disabilities, media services for persons with disabilities.
TARGET GROUPS:
Office clients are children, teenagers, and adults with disabilities and their caregivers.
Public PROGRAM:
Tuesday: 08:00-13:00
Thursday: 12:00-17:00
