On the invitation of Caritas Catolica, registered nurse and long time partner, Coby Willemsen has given a professional Patient Transfer Course in Oradea last week. Approx. 25 participants had the occasion to learn the latest methods and techniques of moving, turning, and transferring partially immobilized or bedridden patients, without damaging their own backs. These techniques were not only taught in theory, but also applied in practice.
The teacher has also responded to the questions coming from the public, trying to find solutions for all the challenges they were facing regarding care work. The members of the public came from various backgrounds. Some were professionals from elderly homes, children’s homes or home care, while others were just simple persons who had to take care of a sick relative in their private lives. Everyone could profit from the personalized guidance.
Soon we will open a new Second Hand Shop in Marghita city. Here we offer for sale clothes, shoes, cosmetic and medical materials, household items, decorations, bed linen, toys and much more – all high quality, coming from sponsors from abroad.
Here everybody can find the things they need, even if they have a small budget. In addition to this, a poor family is aided with every purchase made in the shop, because the proceedings are used to support the social aid programs of Caritas Catolica.
Address: Calea Republicii 82/A (in the place of the previous Kercso shop). We are setting things up. We will announce the grand opening soon.
